Total Screw up

It's just been one of those days where you feel like you can't please anyone and nothing you do seems to be right. I hate those days and wish it would just be over already. While I was thinking about my screw up day and trying to find something to blog about I realized that I really was a screw up and neglected to post Meridee's Birthday. It was clear back In April and I feel guilty for forgetting her. The kids really like it when I post their Birthday's and say all kinds of nice things about them. Good thing she is only 4 and doesn't even know the difference but I guess now I have something to blog about.
Meridee is just beautiful and so much fun. I can't say much else. She is such a joy and really has quite a good sense of humor. She gets that from her dad. She is also a little bit of a drama queen and we can't help but laugh at all her drama. When she gets in trouble and is sent to her room she always responds by telling me that I am breaking her heart. The last picture of her was taken just before her heart surgery. She was only 9 months old at the time. I think the little hospital gown was adorable but we feel very blessed that modern medicine was able to detect her heart murmur and correct it so easily.
Well I guess I should go back to my blah kind of a day. Besides pizza is on its way. There is no way I was cooking on a day like this. Thank goodness for pizza as long as I don't screw that up too somehow.

Feeling better

We all seem to be feeling better, thank goodness. We only have 3 days left of school and we are so excited for summer. We are staying busy with yard work and I have a million projects I want to finish and new one's to start. One of which is the very overwhelming and all consuming Year Supply. As I promised I would, I will start posting all the cool stuff I am hearing about from my Neighbor and Super mom Year supply Guru. Some of it you will already know but there is also some really cool stuff that I have never heard of. So check out the Passey Family Blog for the details. There is a new post on there today so check it out.

Slacker

I've noticed that over the last several months that I have only been posting about once a month. When I first started my blog back around September I was actually pretty much addicted and posted several times a week but I'm not the only one. It seems everybody has slowed down. Is blogging losing its excitement or maybe everyone has just become so much busier. So here is the deal. I'll post more often if you do. Anyway just a silly thought. Not much is going on here. I still haven't been to see a doctor yet and I am quickly approaching my third trimester but I should be able to get in very soon. I am really anxious to find out what we are having so I can do a little preplanning but then again if we wait long enough it could be fun to just be surprised. Well we went most of the winter months without getting sick but in the last couple of weeks we have all had some kind of crazy stomach flu that doesn't want to leave. I have been sick the last couple of days and so my house is falling apart. I hope to get over it quickly. I'm sure this is boring and hopefully I'll feel upto posting something fun

Check out my new shoes

Okay so the baby bump is in the way. I'll put my feet up so you can get a good look.

Gotta love Payless Shoes. These are my new favorite shoes. They make me feel like spring is finally here and kinda stylish at the same time. Anyway not much going on here. I've been bitten by the scrapbooking bug again. I decided to do a Halloween Album. I simplified it by doing everything on black background and I got all thirteen years done this week. I can't believe I did it that fast but the pages actually turned out pretty cute. I haven't been that creative in a while but now I'm on a roll and thinking about updating my Christmas album and painting a room. I also want to start sewing Halloween costumes early since I will not really be up to it in Oct. with a 1 month old and if I only knew what gender this baby was I would sew a quilt and paint the baby's room. I guess I am kinda nesting now. I am about half way through the pregnancy and realizing that it will probably come faster than I think. Any way not a whole lot going on just wanted to update so Shanda couldn't bug me about it. Shanda also convinced me that I needed to post some of the food storage and preparedness info I have been getting from my ward. It is really interesting stuff. If you want to read about I'll post it on the family blog from time to time.

We're not superstitious

Thirteen years ago Danny and I were married in the Los Angeles Temple for Time and Eternity.
It really was a great day. I look at these pictures and of course I wish that I could still look that young, and as for Danny, he was really handsome but I think men age really well and he is even more handsome now with a little gray hair. In fact I think his gray hair is really sexy and I hope he never tries to color it. I can't believe it has been thirteen years and even though our streak of bad luck at the beginning of the year might discourage some, we truly feel a great sense of peace and calm. The Lord has truly blessed us and we recognize that even though these are rough times for our family, we are experiencing exactly what the Lord has designed for us so that we can grow and get to where we are supposed to be. I have never felt closer to Danny than I do at this time. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband.
Okay, so enough of the mushy stuff. I looked up what gift this anniversary was supposed to be and it said lace or a modern version would be textiles. So I guess it is appropriate that we decided to buy new bedding. I know it sounds like a weird thing to do for an anniversary but we decided that because we are so broke that if we were going to spend any money it should be on something we needed anyway. So we are being practical but to spice things up Danny suggested we could then break them in later tonight. hehehe

Mommy Brain

I know that moms always have things on their minds but mine runs really wild during pregnancy, especially at 3:00am. I thought I would share all things that have been running through my mind in the last couple of days.

Why am I awake?
Oh I guess I need to pee again.
You really should try and go back to sleep because even though its the weekend you know the kids will be up by 7:00 and why is it that Audrie will be up at 7 tomorrow but come Monday, she won't be able to get out of bed?
Maybe a cute princess alarm clock will get her excited to wake up?
This year is almost over. Just wait and get her one for next year.
You really do need to fill out those registration forms for the new school and turn those in.
Also you need to turn in Reed's baptism program
He really needs a new white shirt before then as well as a Scout Shirt.
Should I just give the same talk that I used for Paige's baptism?
Conference was really great today.
Our Anniversary is this week. What should we go do?
Maybe I can convince Danny that we should buy new sheets for our bed.
I would really love to get this room decorated before baby time.
White sheets?
Well maybe that depends on the quilt you use? What color should I use on the walls?
What goes with ugly purple carpet?
Maybe I should just stick to beige colors:
Oh how boring!
Should I try and make my own upholstered head board?
That sure would be a lot of work but then we have never had a headboard.
What color should I do for the head board?
Maybe I could recover my chair in the same fabric and it would be nice if Danny could fix that chair so I can have place to nurse this next baby.
Curtains would look really great too.
White?
White.
I need to get a sitter.
Oh no I have Achievement Days on Wednesday.
I need to buy materials for them to finish up their babysitting kits and Paige has a choir performance right after so you better be on top of it that day.
I really would like to decorate Reed's room hopefully this baby will be a boy so they can share a room. It sure would be fun to decorate a boy nursery.
Oh yah, decorating takes money.
but the house sure looks terrible lately
I guess a good spring cleaning is in order and that doesn't cost money.
But I am really not in the mood to clean.
I'm way to tired.
I really need to get in to see the doctor.
I hope Paige isn't getting sick.
Don't forget to call and invite everyone to the baptism.
What should I make for the luncheon afterward?
Should I buy a new dress and get my hair done?
Should I go blonde? How Short should I cut it?
I don't know what I want. I guess I'll wait.
Wheat is on sale. I should probably buy a couple of buckets.
We're out of oil, cereal, milk, bread,

blah
blah blah
Zzzzzzzzz
